Why do we use PayPal to process credit/debit cards

Customers can pay for their order in one of two ways.

They can use their existing PayPal account if they have one OR they can pay using a debit or credit card. 

For customers who have a PayPal account that they want to use to make a payment, they can login to it on the checkout page by simply clicking on the yellow button marked "PayPal".  

For customers who want to pay for their order using a debit or credit card, they can do so at the checkout page.  lThese card payments will actually be processed as a GUEST of PayPal, which means there is NO NEED to have a PayPal account AND no need to create a PayPal account in order to have card payments processed by PayPal! )

A common question we hear is - why do we use PayPal to process credit and debit card payments when there are so many other card payment companies?  

Products of the type sold on this website are sometimes called Homeopathic, Holistic, Alternative and a variety of other names to distinguish them from Pharmaceutical products becaue their ingredients are more of a natural, kinder mix rather than those found in Pharmaceutical products that can contain chemicals and similar additives.

Of course, holistic products are growing more and more in popularity for good reason - despite the fact that big pharmacy companies, who do not like the competition - are doing their best to undermine and discredit such products, which has led to ridiculous claims being made against products like ours by the establishment in a bid to frighten people away from such products.

For example, there is the claim that an ingredient we use in our eye drops called Colloidal Silver, which we use as an antimicrobial, can cause people to turn blue – a condition called Argyria – which actually requires a person to DRINK large amounts of Colloidal Silver on a regular basis for a long time for this to happen.

Such ridiculous scare mongering is rife unfortunately.

But just as unfortunate is the fact that huge pharmacy companies have enormous influence with government agencies worldwide, such as the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) in the USA) as well as with payment processing companies worldwide. More and more of these payment companies are refusing to provide payment services to businesses like ours and in so doing would potentially stop tens of thousands of people from being able to buy our fabulous and very popular products.  

Fortunately, PayPal is happy to provide secure and safe card payments services for businesses like ours where our customers who want to pay using a credit or debit card can do so a GUEST.  Which means they do NOT need to have – or create – a PayPal account in order to get their card payment processed. (Although PayPal will encourage such customers to create a PayPal account as they progress through the payment process which is NOT OBLIGATORY BY ANY MEANS. Customers paying with a credit or debit card can fill in their details on the checkout screen, click on the blue “Pay Now” button and complete their payment as a GUEST of PayPal.
