International Taxes, Tariffs & Duties
COSTCUTTERSRUS are based in the United Kingdom and as such are obliged to place a Customs Label (CN22) on all packages dispatched to countries that are not members of the European Union. The label shows what is contained in the package and the contents value so that, should the Customs officials of the country the package has been sent to check the package as it enters their country, they can decide what import duties & taxes, if any, to charge the future recipient of the package, which may also lead to a delay in delivery and an additional shipping cost raised by the postal services of that country which will also have to be paid by the recipient.
United States of America
As of 29th August 2025, products sent from the UK to customers in the USA will be subject to US import tariffs. Costcuttersrus are paying these tariffs before the order is shipped, to the relevant authorities in the UK, rather than leaving the customer to pay them on delivery in the USA, which would mean them ALSO paying postal handling costs. As part of our ongoing commitment to excellent customer service, Costcuttersrus have absorbed most of these tariff costs. Regrettably however, we have had to offset the rest of this cost by increasing the shipping cost to customers in the USA very slightly.
EU countries
Duties for customers that live in an EU country will be collected at checkout and passed onto the relevant authority.
For details of Customs charges please consult your own country Customs authorities for the latest rates.
