The Ingredients explained:

·         Shea Butter = A natural product, extracted from Shea Nuts

·         Aqua = water

·         1-hexadecanol = Produced from natural fats and oils – used as an emulsifier

·         Glycerin = natural product, extracted from certain plants

·         Butylene Glycol = A natural product - organic alcohol derived from distilled corn

·         Paraffinium Liquidum = derived from a mineral source and is a by-product of petroleum

·         Ethyhexyl Palmitata = A mixture of fatty alcohol and palmitic acid that's used as an emollient, texture enhancer, and solvent. It can help soften and smooth skin, reduce moisture loss, and help active ingredients penetrate the skin more easily. Ethylhexyl palmitate can be derived from plants, animals, or synthetically.

·         Carnosine = is a synthetic peptide that's used as an ingredient to help with skin aging. It's designed to mimic the natural carnosine found in the body, which is a pair of amino acids that functions as a protein building block. Carnosine has several potential benefits for the skin, including:

Ø   Antioxidant action: Helps slow down the processes that break down key proteins in the skin.

Ø   Antiglycation action: Helps attract and distract harmful sugars and free radicals in the skin.

Ø   Anti-aging: Protects against oxidative stress and may help ward off pro-aging glycation effects.

Ø   Cell rejuvenation: Can rejuvenate cells that have already aged.

·         Glyceryl Stearate = also referred to as Glyceryl Monostearate, is a fatty acid derived from vegetable oil, Soy Oil, or Palm Kernel Oil; however, it is also naturally occurring in the human body.

·         Sodium Laureth Sulfate = derived from natural sources such as coconut oil or palm kernel oil

·         Petrolatum = is composed of a mixture of mineral oils and waxes that are extracted from crude oil.

·         Tocopheryl Acetate = Tocopheryl acetate is one of many types of vitamin E. Like other forms of vitamin E, it offers significant antioxidant benefits for skin. Tocopheryl acetate, also known as vitamin E acetate, is a synthetic form of vitamin E that can be made through a chemical reaction between tocopheryl and acetic acid (acetic acid is a naturally occurring and can be found in a variety of sources. It is a natural metabolite). Tocopheryl is a natural form of vitamin E that can be extracted from soybean oil or other natural sources

·         Phenoxythanol = A preservative derived from plant-based feedstocks, such as sugar beet or corn.

·         Aloe vera extract  = Aloe vera extract is a natural preparation made from the cactus-like aloe vera plant, which has been used for thousands of years for its medicinal properties such as anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antiseptic properties, and can help with acne, cold sores, cuts, scrapes, insect bites, minor burns, sunburn, and psoriasis. It can also be used as a face moisturizer. Aloe vera can accelerate wound healing.

·         Sodium Benzoate = Sodium benzoate is not naturally occurring and must be created in a lab, although its primary ingredient – benzoic acid – is natural. This acid can be found in many commonplace plants, such as tomatoes, cloves, cinnamon, apples, and cranberries. It is an antifungal and anti-bacterial agent and effectively prolongs the shelf life of skincare products.

·         Carbomers = A group of synthetic polymers that are derived from acrylic acid. Used as gels in skin products. They are used to distribute or suspend insoluble solids in liquids, keep emulsions from separating, and control the consistency and flow of products. They can also thicken, control viscosity, increase skin permeation, and retain active ingredients.

·         Perfum = formed from fragrant essential oils derived from plants and spices or synthetic aromatic compounds.

·         Triethanolamine = is an organic compound. Used as an emulsifying and neutralizing agent. Triethanolamine, also known as Trolamine or TEA, is an organic compound containing carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, and oxygen.

·         Vitamin E Oil = naturally extracted from plant oils.

·         Niacinamide = is a type of vitamin B3. It helps to control sebum secretion and maintain your skin's oil and moisture balance. It also protects your skin from external aggressors whilst forming a strong moisture barrier. It is naturally derived from nicotinic acid found in many cereals and brewer's yeast.

·         Calendula Extract = is a natural substance derived from the marigold plant (Calendula officinalis). It is commonly used in cosmetics and skincare products, especially those for sensitive skin. Known for its soothing and calming properties, can help with eczema, sore skin, acne, and irritation. Calendula has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties.

·         Hyaluronic Acid = Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring, gel-like substance that the body produces to retain moisture and keep skin soft and supple.

Warning: Avoid contact with eyes. If contact does occur, rinse well with clean water. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. For external use only.
